Half-Life

Half-Life is an epic trilogy where earth has been essentially conquered by themselves, an alien civilization, called the Combine has taken the human race as a prisoner and forced them to under-go a treatment which basicly turns them into combine units, which force more people as prisoner. In the trilogy you take the place of a man named Gordon Freeman. Gordon is a physicist that works at a research facility called Black Mesa. who are essentially competing with the famous Aperture Science, from Portal. Gordon is quickly cought up in a world that is falling apart from the inside-out to make his mark in history as "The One Free Man". You play the role of Gordon. The story is extremly good, and equally interesting. The Graphics are brilliant, and it runs smoothly on even some slow computers. I strongly recomend Half-Life, 1, 2, or any episodes or expansions.

Portal

Portal, a engeneous game that uses portals in a way you never thought possible, in portal you take the roll of a character named Chell in the half-life world, Chell has been captured by Aperture Laboratories to be a test subject with the portal technology. Aperture Laboratories is always trying to convince the test subjects that everything is alright except that they kill you at the end of the test. Aperture Laboratories is competing with black mesa to create portal technology, Technically Aperture Laboratories beat black mesa because of the Ehm, Incident at Black mesa, including a lot of headcrabs. In the end, Chell will defeat the crazy robot thats running Aperture Laboratories, and get revenge on the death of her best friend, who um is actually an object.

Team Fortress 2

When i first saw Team Fortress 2 i was blown away by it's ability to mix humor with really nice gameplay and cartoony graphics. the moment i stepped into my first server i really felt like i was part of the team. Team Fortress 2's nice stat system also makes me feel like I'm progressing for every kill, capture, heal, or built structure. Team Fortress 2's classes were also a feature you will probably like, you can pick any style of gameplay depending on your class. You can run and gun, wait for opponents and then blast them to smithereens, be a healer that assists skilled players in hard missions, ambush enemys with a nice taste of ash after death, make a automatic sentry gun so you don't need to defend as much, zip around confusing your enemy and then take a deadly blow from close up killing them instanly, or take a stealthy approach with your knife, taking out one enemy at a time, un-noticed. If you are even remotely good at first person shooters, i know that at least one of these classes will fit you your liking.

Crysis

This game just plain rocks, If you have ever played this game you are probably wondering why i didn't find this the moment it was released and review it in 1 day, well i have a confession to make, i did find it instantly, but i got hooked playing it and never got around to reviewing it cause it is so awesome and addicting. Rated mature, but i still play it, thats another confession. Crysis is perhaps the most flexible game ever, you can play the demo for months and still have a great time. Check this out!

This one of those games that just seem to last. Not in the way that it doesn't crash, but something you just play, and play, and play... In Synaesthete you take the place of the Zaikman, a defender of the musical dimension. You must rid the dimension of all opponents and free the world of music.

Ichor

Ichor is a fluid-based game for PC. The way you play is you try to smother your opponent with your fluid without getting smothered by his fluid. There are sevral types of opponents you have to defeat too, and a highscore system built in. The game is pretty hard but it is very fun and is a good time waster. There is also a 2 player mode where you can challenge a friend, but it has to be on the same keyboard.

RoboBlitz

RoboBlitz is a puzzle platformer as well as an action adventure made for Xbox360 and PC it features advanced lighting, graphics, physics and more. It really hooked me from the first 5 minutes of play, the story i think is fairly well done and the music is cool and not annoying, YAY! so get this at all costs, i had over 5 errors when installing but i figured them out on the roboblitz website, and it was worth the time troubleshooting!

Lugaru

Lugaru is a fighting game with rabbits in 3D with an amazing enviorment, Lugaru's main feature is its combat system, if an enemy plants a Roundhouse kick at you're head you can press "Crouch" Ducking his kick, and then "Crouch" again making you stand up with his leg on you're shoulder, you can than Kick the opposing Rabbit away and slamming him into a rock with enough force to kill him, This is known as a reversal, you can do the same thing with Punches. there is two kinds of people on the island of lugaru "Wolves" and "Rabbits" Wolves are deadly but Dumb e.g. you throw a knife into him... he doesn't even think about taking it out, than you can trip him and then roll over him crushing him and ripping the knife out of his flesh at the same time Killing him... Rabbits on the other hand are used to being challenged and have better strategy intellect, they will pick up any weapon on the ground, and they will pull knives out of themselves and use them agains't you, they are less strong though. there are three weapons... Knives, Swords, and Staves. Lugaru is also modable in the console and Lugaru 2 (not yet released) will feature many things like Multiplayer. Read more here...

Bontago

The Goal of Bontago is to connect you're flag to the grey flag in the center, you can only connect them with block building, For Instance: If you Build you're block tower Impossibley high, the radius of you're block towers view will increase, so if you build it high enough that the radius will consume the grey flag in the center, than you win. But if you want less risk you can build a long wall that isn't very high, that way when you build far enough, the radius of one of the segments of walls radius will finally consume the flag. But watch out for Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Jumping beans, Bombs, Anvils, Propellers, and Rockets!!! Read more here...

Clonk Rage

Clonk rage is a game i found a long time ago (two years ago) at first it looked like an embarassment to the world of gaming because i only had the demo, but soon after i realized what i could do with it if i bought it... so a few weeks later i bought the game and made some maps, started playing with my sister sophie, learned how to mod, Made my own player and raised my total score to about Sixteen Thousand, and signed up to the CCAN which is a download website with all the cool clonk bits and bytes from all over the world, lately i haven't been so keen, but my sister is. Polarity

Polarity is a platformer. Not any normal one though, you must get through each level by using, well, polarity. You can change your suit from positive, or negitive energy, and once you reach a certon stage you can power it up to do extra things, One of the things that makes this extra fun is the fact that you can stop anywhere in the game and just have fun zooming around in un-earthly directions.

Plasma Pong

This game is really cool, i LOVE the music, the gameplay is addicting and the graphics are AMAZING, the way you play is like Pong, except with Plasma, with the left mouse button you can shoot a ray of plasma at the ball making it slow and eventualy move in the other direction, with the right mouse button you can suck the ball towards you and shoot it back with left click once you have it. One of the cool things about it is that it features Water dynamics and an editor mode.

Flow is a really cool game that is mostly unique with the system of freedom you get when playing, you start out as a little water centipeed and get to grow by eating little fishes... there are also enemys, you have to eat they're weak spots until they have no more, than they explode into food and you get to feast, but beware DINNER MIGHT STRIKE BACK

. some fish look just like you but they are enemys too, not other people playing. .

Cortex Command

Cortex Command is a type of war game that no one was expecting

, you are the brain of an army of men, Armed or not.. there is some spaceships and weapons ranging from Pistols to Bazookas. the goal of the game is to destroy the enemys brain, to do that you may have to mine and fight. Looped map and footprints make it fun to track down opponents, also the animations are PixelPhysics, meaning that they are just blobs of pixels all put together to make a little person

Endorphin is a human motion simulator that i found yesterday, it simulates all kinds of movment like car crashes to martial arts, you can make forces and events happen in certon parts in the timeline, you can save your creations and play them whenever you want, backwards or forwards. Gymnast is a game by walaber, walaber is the creator of Jello Car, Trampoline, and a couple other great games. In gymnast you must swing and catch as many bars as possible before reaching the goal bar, you can do flips to earn extra score and do things to help you like tuck your legs in to go faster or use your arm in a way that makes you go extra fast.

Ahh, Rigidchips you say?, RigidChips is a "Rigid Body Physics Editor" for windows, RC features 4 dozen or so machines ranging from War Planes to Motorboats that have they're own features such as Radars, Missile Launchers, Rockets, Wings, Ballons, etc... You can create you're own machines and toggle the Gravity, Fuel, Breaking, and more. Wx Sand is a very complex game that i found about a year or two ago. You start out on a Blank screen with a few Elements like Fire Wax Steam TNT etc.. these elements turn out on the screen on all diffren't sizes (depending on what size you pick) they mix and make reactions, like Water + Plant = Growing Plant, or Fire + TNT = Explosion!

, anyways you get the idea. Wx Sand is Moddable and has a wide range of possabilaties you can pick from, such as Gravity, Density, Slip, Energy, Color, Name, Reaction, Heat Reaction, Explosion, and allot More...

Armadillo Run is a physics, game there is a few very realistic matierials like Rope, Elastic, Metal plate, Metal Bar, Rockets and Rubber, the gameplay is Simple Yet compicated. you start out with a little Box of space an Armadillo and a portal with some matierial inbetween them, you must figure ou how to get the armadillo to the portal with the money and resources supplied. Legend of shadow is a very fun ninja action game i found last week, the type of gameplay is quite like lugaru's, use as little buttons to perform many things, you can reverse your enemys attacks some of the time, there are some bonuses that enhance your shurikuns like making them shoot out in all directions or making them boomerang back at you, there is a few bosses and a few diffrent kinds of ninjas, there is normal ninjas, Brown ninjas, and fire breathing ninjas.

Newtons Playground

Newton Playground is a really cool physics editor that i found about 2 years ago, you can create items on a flat disc and then mod they're Mass, Friction, Volume, Color, Position, Megnitism, and countless other things, there is no softbody objects but they're is Ragdolls. you can make joints and gears, Pullys, Sliders, Corkscrews and more. I am making a car right now, Hopefully it the wheels will stay on, i should have it done in a while.

You start out with a piece of string 100 or so meters long, you have to wrap as little posible thread over a large area with lots of corners and gaps, the string is soaked in a texture, and so when you have placed the string a little of the fluid inside the string leaks out and colors the wood that texture., i'm not sure if this made any sense to you... My mom almost fell down laughing when she heard the name, then when i told her how you play she sounded interested
